One of the most common questions we’re asked as interior designers is “Where did you find that piece?”
Oftentimes our response is “It’s custom.”
What does “custom” really mean? It’s a process of designing a furniture piece tailored to the specific needs of a client, creating CAD drawings and working with local fabricators to refine details and proportions. Everything we design is made in San Francisco, supporting local craftsmen and the economy. Win, win!
A generous tufted banquette maximizes seating in the game room.
Our latest project in Noe Valley is the perfect opportunity to provide an inside peek at the process of designing custom furniture. From the space-saving console table in the entry to the tricked-out bar in the living room, this home is full of personalized and creative design solutions!
A cantilevered console table creates the illusion of space in the entry, while adding additional storage and a landing spot for sunglasses and keys.
A swanky bar cabinet with studded metal doors fills the niche adjacent to the fireplace. Our favorite feature: Hidden doors for easy access to liquor and glassware!
