Niche’s New San Francisco Studio!
After leasing in Potrero Hill for over 7 years, we finally found a permanent home for our Interior Design Studio! Located in a converted molding factory in the South of Market neighborhood in San Francisco, the corner unit is on a quiet side street near 8th and Folsom. Our team is loving the incredible natural light, soaring ceilings and city views. We are still just blocks away from the San Francisco Design Center, which is a quick ride away on our new electric bike (with saddle bags for sample returns of course)!

After settling on a design direction for our new space we turned to Caroline Lizarraga to create some inspiring walls for our sample library. We have collaborated with Caroline’s team on a number of client projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, so we were excited to incorporate her work into our own space. It was great fun seeing the transformation of this room and getting a behind the scenes look at their artistic process. Her talented team of artists painted abstract geometric shapes in a warm, neutral palette on all the walls – it’s dramatic and beautiful. This will serve as the perfect backdrop to the mid-century modern furniture that will be layered in this space.

Our interior design team is busy developing custom furniture concepts, designing a custom rug, and updating the decorative lighting and hardware throughout the studio. We are embracing the challenge of designing a space that reflects our aesthetic and that also showcases the work of the talented local craftspeople whom we are fortunate to collaborate with on client projects.

An expansive custom oak and brass table will highlight the expertise of one of our local woodworkers, acting as the focal point of the conference room which overlooks downtown San Francisco. Be sure to follow along with our office transformation on Instagram!
